Every time we are in Cairns we like to take a walk through the 'Flecker Botanic Gardens' and to hike to the top of Mt. Whitfield. Hiking Mt. Whitfield is very dusty and we get very dirty, but it is a nice hike through the rain forest and if you are lucky you can see some wallabies. As always the tropical plants and flowers in the Botanic Garden were beautiful.
